On June 23, 2017 KKDIK – <\/a>Turkish REACH regulation<\/a> was published by the  Turkish Republic Ministry of Environment in the Official Gazette No. 30105 and came into force on December 23, 2017.\u200b KKDIK Pre-Registration Service<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KKDIK has been prepared on the basis of EU REACH Regulation and adapted to the Turkish Industry within the frame of compliance with the legislation of the European Union.\u200b <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration, Restriction and Permission are similar processes within the scope of  KKDIK – Turkish REACH.\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Registration within the scope of KKDIK are divided into two process named as Pre-Registration and Registration<\/p>\n\n\n\n

European REACH registration of substances shall not be applied in Turkey. Therefore, these substances should be registered under the KKDIK again.\u200b <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first step, the KKDIK Pre-Registration Process, will be held between 23 December 2017 to 31 December 2020. After the pre-registration process will be completed on 31 December 2020, the registration process will start. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can brief critical dates for these processes as below; <\/p>\n\n\n\n

* between 100 – 1000 t\/a<\/td><\/tr>
* 1 – 10 t\/a, 10 – 100 t\/a<\/td>31 December 2030<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

KKDIK\nRegistrations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to\nprepare for the registration process, the process defined as the\npre-registration process is called the pre-Substance Information Exchange forum\n(pre-SIEF) in the KKDIK regulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the\nrelevant articles for Pre-Registration, that are mentioned as Pre-Substance\nInformation Exchange Forum (pre-SIEF) in the KKDIK Regulation, are specified as\nfollows;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transitional Provisions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRANSITIONAL\nARTICLE 1- (1) All registrants, shall send a pre-SIEF including below\nmentioned information to the Ministry through Chemicals Registration System in\nthe website of Ministry until 31\/12\/2020:
\na) Substance identity according to Annex-6;
\nb) Role in the supply chain\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entry into\nForce<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARTICLE 66-\n(1) \u00e7) All other provisions will enter into force 6 months later the date\nof its publication on the Official Gazette.
\nAs stated in the KKDIK Regulation, it is obligatory to submit Pre-SIEF\n(Pre-Registration) for chemical substances with registration obligation under\nthe scope of KKDIK. This obligation comes into force as of December 23, 2017.\nThe deadline for submission of the Pre-SIEF to the Ministry’s assessment is 31\nDecember 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a\nPre-Registration \/ Registration obligations for substances manufactured or\nimported in 1 ton or more per year in its own form or in the mixture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
